Osseo Maple Grove Football Association

3rd Grade 

This is a full-contact (tackling) level of football with 9 players on the field per team. Helmet and full pads are required. Games will be played against other OMGFA 3rd grade teams. Maximum weight for backfield / ball carriers is 90 pounds. Each team is allowed to have one coach on the field during games. Game jerseys and socks are provided. Games will be played at the Maple Grove Parks & Recreation field at Fernbrook elementary school.

4th Grade

This is a full-contact (tackling) level of football. Helmet and full pads are required. Games will be played against other OMGFA 4th grade teams. Maximum weight for backfield / ball carriers is 95 pounds. Each team is allowed to have one coach on the field during games. Game jerseys and socks are provided. Games will be played at the Maple Grove Parks & Recreation field at Fernbrook elementary school.

5th Grade

This is a full-contact (tackling) level of football. Helmet and full pads are required. Games will be played against other OMGFA 5th grade teams. Maximum weight for backfield / ball carriers is 105 pounds. Each team is allowed to have one coach on the field during games. Game jerseys and socks are provided. Games will be played at the Maple Grove Parks & Recreation fields at Gleason Playfields.

6th Grade

This is a full-contact (tackling) level of football. Helmet and full pads are required. Games will be played against other OMGFA 6th grade teams. Maximum weight for backfield / ball carriers is 120 pounds. Game jerseys and socks are provided. Games will be played at the Maple Grove Parks & Recreation fields at Gleason Playfields.

7th Grade

This is a full-contact (tackling) level of football. Helmet and full pads are required. Teams will be formed based on an Equi-draft system. All teams will play in the North Suburban Football League (NSFL) against 7th grade teams from the Northern suburbs (Rogers, Elk River, etc.). Game jerseys and socks are provided. Games will be played at the Maple Grove Parks & Recreation fields at Gleason Playfields and at various locations around the Northern suburbs.

8th Grade

This is a full-contact (tackling) level of football. Helmet and full pads are required. Teams will be formed based on an Equi-draft system.
