Jamboree
The 2011 OMGFA Jamboree will be held Aug. 27th from 8am to Noon at the Maple Grove Junior High School. Please note this is a location change from past years. The address is 7000 Hemlock Lane North.
This event will involve all OMGFA teams and include individual and team pictures and scrimmage games. Event schedules for each team will be provided. This event will be similar to last year. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. This is a rain or shine event and will be cancelled only by lightning or very heavy rain. In the event of lightning or heavy rain picture sessions will be moved indoors.
Team Pictures: Players and coaches are to be at their designated station 5 minutes prior to the scheduled time, in number order, in full game uniforms including pants, pads, football shoes, game jersey, etc. Remember to bring completed picture forms and payment. Each team to complete the team picture roster and give to photographer. Picture order forms for each player will be available from your coach.
Scrimmage Games: Each 3rd - 6th grade team will play a scrimmage game against another OMGFA team. Players must be in full game uniforms (pads, mouth guards, etc.) and ready to play at the designated times. One coach from each team is to be on the field to perform referee duties.
Concession Stand: Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Provided by the Osseo Senior High Football Boosters.
