Welcome to the Osseo-Maple Grove Football Association (OMGFA) website! It is intended to be the primary source of information for anyone who is involved in Osseo-Maple Grove youth football. Our goal is to provide you with information that is up to date and useful whether you are a player, volunteer, parent, spectator or coach.

The Osseo-Maple Grove Football Association is a volunteer youth organization made up of players (3rd - 8th grade) and parents primarily within the Osseo-Maple Grove School District #279, and are in the Osseo or Maple Grove Senior High School area. The program is open to students from any school or school district.

OSSEO-MAPLE GROVE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS RESULTS

The OMGFA Board of Directors make changes at President, yet maintain continuity. The positions of President, Secretary and Director 3^rd & 4^th Grade were open for election this year. In addition, Treasurer is an annual appointment.

Brian Williams was elected as OMGFA’s new President. Mr. Williams served as Director, 7^th & 8^th Grade in 2011.

He replaces Tony Rios, who has been a fixture on the OMGFA Board for the past 7 years. Mr. Rios served as President for the past two years, Vice-President for two years, Director 5^th & 6^th Grade for two years and Secretary for one year. Tony has agreed to remain with OMGFA and was elected to the position of Director, 7^th & 8^th Grade.

Mr. Rios did a remarkable job steering the organization through some very challenging circumstances and dedicated countless hours toward advancing the youth football experience in our community. The Board would like to offer their sincere thanks to Tony for his service and dedication. Mr. Rios will continue to serve, following his election to the position of Director, 7^th & 8^th Grade.

Mark Deinhart was re-appointed to the position of Tresurer. Mr. Dienhart has done an outstanding job helping OMGFA sort through a difficult transition period and has helped the organization better understand the new financial reality we face, given the changes in player numbers.

Adam Sand was elected to the position of Secretary, after being appointed to the Board in the same position a year ago. Adam will now serve a 2-year term.

Dean Stolp was elected to the position of Director, 3^rd & 4^th Grade, after being appointed to the Board in the same position a year ago. Dean will now serve a 2-year term.

Following is the composition of the OMGFA Board of Directors following last night’s elections:

Director, 3^rd & 4^th Grade: Dean Stolp (Elected)

Director, 7^th & 8^th Grade: Tony Rios (Elected)

In 2013, the positions of Vice-President and Director, 5^th & 6^th Grade will be up for election and the Treasurer will be up for appointment by the Board.
